Why I Love Plants

Because they do their thing, tirelessly growing without ever looking busy or even less zealous, yet they are super efficient!
Because they are edible, nine out of ten, more or less have some use for humans, but they always are. They exist even if humans aren’t around.
Because they are mostly green and I find green soothing.
So, feelings, utilitarianism, opportunism, and aesthetics, are deeply intertwined. And this is a plant-based metaphor.
